A blue that won't sit still

Blue has quietly become the default "interesting" dial color, and for good reason. On the Kilo JDM-WG026-03, a sunburst finish (fine lines radiating from the center) makes it shift between navy and bright blue as you move.

Why blue works

Blue is the dial color that goes with almost everything: gray suits, beige chinos, white shirts, denim. Here it's framed by a 40 mm polished steel case and a black genuine leather strap that let it do the talking.

The Swiss part

It runs on a Swiss Ronda 515 quartz movement with date. Ronda has been making movements in Switzerland since 1946, and its calibers power watches from plenty of well-known brands. Add a sapphire crystal and the Swiss Made label, and it's an easy way into Swiss watches on a sensible budget.
